Yoyo 1.0 Honeycomb is now Available for Free!

I’ve always wanted a notes app that didn’t feel like an app — something light, something that sits on my screen the way a thought sits in my mind. Not loud, not boxed-in, not neon yellow yelling at me. Just… there. Calm. Mine.

I’ve always wanted a notes app that didn’t feel like an app — something light, something that sits on my screen the way a thought sits in my mind. Not loud, not boxed-in, not neon yellow yelling at me. Just… there. Calm. Mine.

That’s what Yoyo became.

Honeycomb is the first release, and it finally brings the version of Yoyo I kept seeing in my head: soft glass, clean edges, type that actually feels good to look at. It blends in when you need focus. It stands out when you need the thought back. It lives on your desktop without acting like it owns the place.

You can shape it however you want — colors, size, vibe — because I hate when apps decide that for me. Yoyo should feel like something you made, not something you borrowed.

And the fade? My favorite part. Click away and it melts into the wallpaper, almost like a whisper. Still visible. Never distracting.

Yoyo 1.0 (Honeycomb) is small, simple, and something I’m really proud of.
